Reseller Tip #7: Re-branding Expand Sales Sheets

Today’s helpful tip for our resellers is about how to re-brand Expand’s product sales sheets with your own company logo and contact information.

Tip #7: How to Re-brand Expand Sales Sheets

We have a full collection of Expand Product Sales Sheets available via the Expand Image Bank. Click here to register for access to our Image Bank.

Then follow these instructions to re-brand the sales sheets with your information: 

1. Find which Product Sales Sheet you’d like to re-brand, click download and open the file in Adobe Acrobat (or any pdf reader)

2. Click on “View”, then scroll down and click “Tools”

3. Click “Edit Text & Images”

4. After you click “Edit PDF”, you will see bounding boxes around the pictures & text. Scroll down to “Your Name”.

5. Put the curser inside the box.

6. Hit the backspace button to delete the words “Your name”, then type your name in the box.

7. Repeat step 6 with “Your Phone” and “Your Email”.

8. Select the bounding box around “Your Logotype”.

9.  Right click and select “Replace Image”. 

10. Find a High-Res version of your logo and place it in the sampler spot. Make sure that the logo you insert is the same size as the X in the Expand logo.

Tip #6: How to Embed Expand Videos

We have a wide collection of Expand product videos. Do you need an easy way to show your customers the Expand products that you sell without directing them to us? Just embed our Expand videos into your own website using the simple steps below:

1.Go to http://www.expandmedia.com/usdealers -OR- www.qualitybannerstands.com.

2. Click on Expand Portable Displays

You’ll be taken to a screen that looks like this:

3. Click on Expand Videos

4. After you click on Expand Videos, scroll through until you find the video that you want to embed.

5. At the bottom of the video, you’ll see a play button and some other control buttons. Hover over them with you mouse, and click on the one that says Share Control. (The button looks like a square with an arrow.)

6. Once you click the Share Control button, you will see a pop-up that allows you to either copy the embed code or embed it into your Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook account.

7. If you click on the one that says Embed, it will say Embed code is now in your clipboard!

8. Then simply go to your website and paste the code! 

You can also change the size of the video. When you copy the code into your website, it puts it into an iframe. You can click inside of the iframe to change the height and width of the video if you choose. Just place your curser where it says width and enter the width you want, then put your curser where it says height and enter the height that you want.

If you want to also publish it to your social media pages, make sure you are logged into your social media account and click on the embed button and choose the Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook option. Then just click Tweet, Share, or Post to Facebook.

Tip #5: How to Embed Expand Videos

Do you need an easy way to show your customers the Expand products without directing them to us? We have a quick and efficient way for you to embed all Expand Brochures into your own website to allow your customers to view the full suite of Expand products, without having to send them to the Expand website.

Click on the following link to access all Expand brochures on Issuu:

From there, you can download a brochure for any of our Expand products.

* Please note, you will need to log to view our brochures. You can easily create a free account by clicking on “Create account”.

2. Click on the brochure that you want to embed into your website.

3. Under the picture of the brochure, click Share.

4. More options will pop up under the share link. Click on Embed.

5. After you click on Embed, it will take you to a screen titled “Add it to your site”.
Copy and paste the code from the Embed Box into your website.

Reseller Tools – Tip #3: Get Inspired Kits for Portable Event Displays

Tip #3: Get Inspired Kits for Portable Event Displays

On the top of the Expand website is a tab labeled “Portfolio”. When you click on this tab, you will be taken to a collection of Get Inspired Kits. This page contains some examples of how to use Expand products in different configurations for your event. Use these ideas to create your own layout and help your customers meet the needs of their next trade show, event or product launch.

Use these Get Inspired Kits for a simple way to find a fast solution and give your customers an idea of what kind of booth layouts they can order. Click on the kit that you think your customer would be interested in and email the link to them to help them make an instant purchasing decision!

The content in these kits can be customized to fit your customer’s needs. Most of the kits even allow you to view a 3-D rendering. Once your customer has an idea of what they want, you can click on the kit they are most interested in and then click on “To see a 3-D view, click here”. This will take you to the Expand DisplayBuilder: a free 3-D rendering tool that lets you render any size booth.

If the kit you’re interested in does not include a link to view it in 3-D, you can still create a 3-D rendering by going into the Expand DisplayBuilder and adding each product on your own. Just click on this link, sign up with your email address and follow the step-by-step instructions.

Reseller Tools – Tip #2: Accessing the New Expand Image Bank

We have a lot of great Expand reseller tools available to make selling to your customers easier. We hope that you had a chance to read our 1st tip, about using the Expand Web Store. Tip #2: New Image Bank on Box.com

We are now offering an improved image directory for our resellers via Box.com. The directory contains several high-resolution and low-resolution images that are readily available for you when marketing our Expand products. You must be an Authorized Expand Reseller in order to have access to Expand’s new image bank. Click here to contact us about becoming an authorized Expand Reseller.

The new image bank is FREE to all of our resellers and very easy to use.

Simply follow these steps to access the Image Bank: 

1. Click on the “Reseller Tools” tab on the top right side of the Expand website. This will take you to a page titled “New Image Bank for our Dealers”, where you can enter your email address to request a link to the new Image Bank.

2. After entering your email, you will receive an email titled “We have received your Image Bank request”.

3. Our team will review your request and confirm that you are a registered reseller of Expand. Once we confirm that you are a registered reseller, you will receive another email that looks like this:

4. Click on “Accept Invite”. This will take you to the Box.com website, where you can log in.

  • If you already have a corporate account on Box: Use the same email address and we will invite you to our folder, “Expand International.”
  • If you don’t have an account on Box yet: Follow the link in the invitation that you receive via email. You will be able to choose your name and password.

5. Once you are logged in, it will take you to a folder titled “Expand Reseller Tools”. Click through to access Expand’s Artwork Templates, Price Guides and Product Images:

Use these templates when you are submitting artwork for a particular Expand product. They contain the guidelines needed to submit your artwork, including the trim size and graphic size with bleed. This information is also available on the Expand website.

Expand Price Guide

Expand Price Guides are also available in the Box.com folder. Check your pricing for the different Expand products. You can also see your pricing for different Expand products on the Expand Web Store.

Expand Product Images

The third folder in the Reseller Tools folder on Box.com is called “Expand Product Images”. Download these images and use in your marketing. The contents are broken down by Product Name, and each product folder contains a subfolder for high-res images and a subfolder for low-res images.

 

*Please note, The images on the Expand extranet are owned by Expand International and may not be retouched, cropped or otherwise altered (except enlarging or reducing the picture) without permission from Expand International.

Reseller Tools – Tip #1: Using the Expand Store

At Expand, we have a lot of great tools available to our registered resellers. We will be posting a series of helpful tips for using Expand Reseller Tools to making selling to your end users easier. If you have questions, please contact us or visit the reseller tools section on our website.


Tip #1: Using the Expand Store 

When selling Expand products to your customers, the online Expand Store can be extremely helpful. You must be an Authorized Expand Reseller in order to have access to Expand’s store. Click here to contact us about becoming an authorized Expand Reseller. We will confirm and send you a User ID and Password that you will need to access the store.

The Expand store offers online ordering for all Expand products. When you log in with your username and password, you will be able to see the price that you pay and the current inventory levels. You will also be able to review aged balances and investigate closed invoices.

Easily Prepare Quotes for your Customers

The Expand store offers you a quick way to prepare a quote for your customer. Enter in the quantities of each product they wish to purchase and add them to your shopping cart. It will total the price and you can save or print the page.

Save Money by Placing Your Order Online 

We also offer an additional discount for all online orders. For your first online purchase, you will receive a 5% web discount on your entire order. After that, you will receive a 2% web discount on any additional online orders. This is a great and easy way to save money, while still receiving Expand’s high-quality products.  The 5% or 2% discount will appear underneath “Total Amount” when you click on “View your cart” .

Upload Your Artwork Right to the Web Store

If you’re also ordering graphics for the Expand product you are purchasing, you can upload your artwork directly to the Expand store after placing your order. Simply find the order confirmation and click on the “Upload your Artwork” link. This brings you to our FTP upload application where you can sync your graphics with your order.

Track Your Order

The web store also makes it easier to track your order. Click on “Paid Invoice History” under the “My Account” tab and type in a date range or order number to get a list of invoices that match that criteria. The invoice will provide the tracking number and the number of packages the order was shipped in. Clicking on the tracking number will bring you to the UPS website, which will give you more information about when your order will be delivered.

And remember, the Expand website is another great tool to use when letting your customers know what products Expand offers. Each product page is set up in the same way and features a link to “Download a leaflet”, which you can email to your customers and a “Read more about the product ” link that takes you to a page with product specifications, including set-up instructions, size charts, and accessories.
